The torsion bar press brake, often referred to as a mechanical synchronisation press brake, uses a purely mechanical torsion bar to synchronise ram movement on both sides. It performs reliably in harsh conditions (such as eccentric loading), requires simple maintenance, and has relatively low purchase and operating costs. It is well suited for batch bending of medium-thick plates where extremely high precision is not critical.

High-Rigidity Mechanical Structure
A high-strength torsion shaft running through the full length of the ram serves as the core mechanical synchronisation mechanism. Connected to the left and right screw drives or hydraulic cylinders via linkages at both ends, it ensures excellent synchronisation and structural integrity during ram movement.
Simplified and Reliable Hydraulic System
Synchronisation does not rely on servo valves or closed-loop feedback. The hydraulic system features a simple structure, mainly using proportional or conventional hydraulic valves. With lower requirements for oil cleanliness, it allows easier maintenance and higher reliability.
High-Strength Monolithic Machine Frame
The machine frame is formed as a single structure, providing sufficient tensile and compressive strength while maintaining table deflection within safe limits. Stress is relieved through annealing, and precision machining is completed in a single pass on a large gantry milling machine to ensure excellent straightness and perpendicularity.
Flexible Manual Front Support Module
The front support is equipped with roller supports that slide manually left and right along linear guides on the Z-axis. The height can be easily adjusted via a handwheel, providing flexible and reliable material support.
High-Precision Backgauge Module
The backgauge uses a high-precision worm-gear transmission system, enabling fast X-axis movement. Anti-collision backgauge fingers are designed for quick replacement, ensuring convenient maintenance and long-term operation.
